How can I open the chart window of an instrument?

A chart can be opened simply by dragging the symbol name from the Market Watch window. Please note: When dragging an instrument into an open chart window, a new instrument will be opened in the same window and the previous one will be deleted from it. In this case, all settings of the previous chart will be applied to the new one. You may also check out this article to find out more details.

In order to open a new chart, please follow the below instructions:

  • Click "File" on the top in the main menu and select "New Chart"

  • Click the "Create a New Chart" button on the toolbar

  • Right-click on one of the instruments in the Market Watch window and select "Chart window".
